Entrepreneurs talk shop on export, trade schemes

Dimapur, Feb. 4 (EMN): Jaipur-based CUTS International organized a seminar focusing on export procedures and development schemes for female entrepreneurs in Nagaland. A press release on Monday from capacity and resource building group YouthNet stated that the event was conducted on February 4 at the Made In Nagaland Expo Centre. CUTS International organised the event in collaboration with YouthNet, the updates stated. Neitsope-U Thopi, of Chizami Weaves, North East Network, was the resource person for the programme, the organisers stated. According to the press release, the workshop focused on promoting and generating industry relevant information among prospective women exporters, traders and entrepreneurs. Likewise, it aimed at studying the challenges and opportunities ‘along with several other projects on mainstreaming gender in trade,’ the press release explained. Mohini Ganguly and Saurabh Kumar highlighted the objective of the meeting and gave briefings about CUTS International. Entrepreneurs, exporters and traders from diverse fields, representative from the Kohima Chamber of Commerce & Industries; and members of the State Resource Centre for Women, Self Employed Women’s Association; and YouthNet’s Made In Nagaland Entrepreneurs Network, attended the workshop, the organisers stated.
