Dimapur, Nov. 14 (EMN): Imnatiba Jamir, advisor for Industries and Commerce, inaugurated Nagaland state’s pavilion at the Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.
The 39th edition of the IIFT-India International Trade Fair 2019 was inaugurated by Nitin Gadkari, minister for Road Transport & Highways of India and Shipping Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises at the Pragati Maidan. The public relations officer for Nagaland House issued a press release to the media on Thursday informing about the advisor’s visit.
According to the press release, there are 15 entrepreneurs from Nagaland taking part in the event, showcasing local products that include handloom, handy crafts, wood crafts, bamboo crafts and organic beauty products, and non-alcoholic fruit wine, among others.
The IIFT’s theme for the event this year is “ease of doing business.”
Jharkhand and Bihar will serve as partner states for the IIFT 2019, the updates stated. About 20 countries will be taking part in the event. The trade fair will go on till November 27 at the Pragati Maidan, the updates added.
