Dimapur, June 12 (EMN): The Eastern Nagaland Students’ Union Kohima (ENSUK) condoled the demise of late SS Khaplang, chairman of NSCN (K), who gave his entire life for the cause of the Nagas. The union solemnly honoured his services dedicated for the Nagas and a history ever to venture forward. ENSUK expressed that late Khaplang will be remembered and his legacy will continue for generations to come. It also offered prayers to the bereaved family members at this hour of grief. Meanwhile, ENSUK supported the Nagaland Chief Minister, Dr. Shurhozelie Liezietsu’s condolence message on SS Khaplang’s demise. In a press release, ENSUK president Heno Lushing stated that the union contempt the so called Republic TV for cheap bias news which criticized the Nagaland Chief Minister for the condolences message. “Disintegration of brotherhood should not be allowed in any conscious or of any political interest,” the union added.
