AFTER successfully implementing its first venture by admitting 158 students for pursuing higher degree and professional studies (Engineering & Medicine) in five different institutions in 2013, the Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF) is all set for the next ENSF Education Initiative (EEI) for the current year.
It may be noted that out of the total of 158 students sent from Nagaland last year, 77 students were admitted at Vidya Vikas Institute of Technology (VVIT), 12 in Tirumala Nursing College, 11 in MNR, 28 at Holy Mary Institute Of Technology & Science (HITS) and 34 in Royal Institute Of Technology And Science (RITS). Those students would soon be completing their 2nd semester by July 2014 and they are receiving their scholarship for the current academic year.
This year, the Federation is including Bethel Medical & Hosmat Hospital Education Group at Bangalore for pursuing medicinal studies other than MBBS. In this regard, the Federation would soon be advertising the details in the local daily very soon. Interested students and parents are asked to log on to the website on the above mentioned institutional names for details.
The Federation would assist the students for applying scholarship online, negotiate fees structures with the institutions within affordable and manageable range for the poor students and to act as guardian for the students until they complete their course.
It also informed all the interested students and parents that ENSF under its brand name “ENSF Education Initiative (EEI)” is the sole organ of the Federation dealing in this matter. It, therefore, said there shouldn’t be any confusion with any other organisation/ group involved in such similar venture with its name. It said the Federation would neither discourage nor encourage when it comes to their authenticity.
It further stated that EEI (ENSF), having a year experience, might alter the system and pattern depending on the past experience and difficulties faced.
