Dimapur, June 18 (EMN): The failure of the state government to respond to the requests of the Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF) has prompted the student group to call for an indefinite agitation in all the four districts of the region starting from June 20.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the ENSF expressed disappointment with the outcome of a meeting held at the chief secretary’s conference room recently. Its concerns regarding “relaxation policy”, “setting up of B.Ed colleges in Eastern Nagaland and adequate DIET institution”, were left unaddressed during the meeting, it stated. The ENSF claimed that they have been patiently waiting for a response from the state government but is “shocked” by its “cold response.”
“Instead of addressing the problem after repeatedly being served with a representation, reminder and an ultimatum there was no response from the state government,” it stated.
