Dimapur, April 22 (EMN): The batch of 2013 students of Holy Mary Naga Students in Hyderabad have appealed to the Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF) to clear pending fees, which the federation is understood to have committee to paying, on or before April 30.
Failure to clear said fees would prevent the students from being allowed the final examination, a letter to the local media from the batch of said institution stated on Saturday.
“As per the advertisement published on 8th May 2013 in daily local newspaper, Nagaland Post by ENSF in collaboration with AASA, a total of 26 Students were admitted in Holy Mary Institute of Technology and Science, Hyderabad under fee reimbursement scheme for free education in various technical and professional’s course,” the letter stated.
“However, ENSF failed to pay the fees as per their advertisement and commitment. Students along with ENSF in the presence of college management resolved that ENSF will take sole responsibility for the payment of 2nd year fees and the remaining 3rd & 4th year fees by the student individual.”
The students said to have learned that the ENSF had “collected money from various district of eastern Nagaland under the RD (Rural Development) department with approval from state government and ENPO (Eastern Nagaland People’s Organization).”
“ENSF have lately paid only 70% of the 2nd year fees of which we are grateful. We the students are now in our final semester and final exam commence within a period of week,” the letter stated.
“Therefore, it is our humble request to the concerned federation to clear the remaining fees on or before 30/04/2017 else the students will not be allowed for the final examination.”
