Dimapur, June 18 (EMN): Eastern Nagaland College Students Union (ENCSU) has urged the state government to grant scholarship for theological students from the current financial year.
In a representation to the state chief minister, ENCSU president, M Longre Chang and the general secretary, Wangnei C Jessuhu, have apprised that college admission and the monthly fees of theological students is more than other secular students in Nagaland.
It stated that since theological students do not get any scholarship, some of them could not even complete their full course of study due to property. With the declared slogan ‘Nagaland for Christ,’ ENCSU has appealed to the state government to grant scholarship to the theological students.
