Dimapur, Nov. 5 (EMN): Eastern Nagaland College Students' Union (ENCSU) organised a handing and taking over charge of the new team for the tenure 2020-23 on November 3 at DUDA Guest House conference hall, Kohima.
The programme was chaired by outgoing general secretary Wangnei C Jessuhu in presence of ENSF and federating units of six tribes, an update from ENCSU media cell stated on Thursday.
It stated that ENSF president Sepili L Sangtam, in his exhortation, encouraged the members to work in unity and integrity, while the pastor of SBLK
Thsadong dedicated the new office bearers with his blessings and prayers. Short speeches were also delivered by outgoing general secretary Wangnei and incoming president Serichum Sangtam.
The programme concluded with words of gratitude delivered by ENSF speaker Apong Janger Yimchunger followed with a mass prayer.
The new team will be headed by Serichum Sangtam as president and Sanglekhamba C Chang as general secretary.
