Dimapur, Nov 9 (EMN): The Eastern Nagaland College Students’ Union (ENCSU) organised a special ‘cleanliness drive campaign’ on Nov. 6 at Yingli College - Longleng; Zisaji Presidency College - Kiphire; Wangkhao Colege - Mon, Sao Chang College and Loyem Memorial Degree college - Tuensang.
The campaign was undertaken in view of the approaching festive season and it was carried out on the theme ‘clean environment’.
The ENCSU expressed and gratitude to all the students for the grand success of the cleanliness campaign in eastern colleges.
The ENCSU declared to promote the system of students community to keep clean their college campus and surrounding environment as an habituated standard. ENCSU also assign the Students community to together we pledged to keep the environment clean and green.
Meanwhile, ENCSU stated that students should apply the quality of need and clean standard as uniform of students in Education sector.
Saying that a thousand miles begin with a single step, the union urged the fellow students to be a beginner ambassador of an eye opener for the wellbeing of the society through one’s initiative to clean the surroundings. It further encouraged the students that it is better to light one small candle than to curse the darkness for a cleaner environment in the society.
The ENCSU also deeply apprecitated all the college authorities and the participants for ardent support of our campaign and it’s successfully completed the social work through the esteem participation of students and the college administration.
The ENCSU expressed hope and prayer that the same pattern will continue even in a days to come.
