DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 5: The Eastern Nagaland College Students' Union (ENCSU) began its third phase agitation today by restricting the movement of government vehicles within the four districts of Eastern Nagaland. Supported by the six apex students' bodies of the region - Sangtam, Yimchunger, Konyak, Chang, Khiamnungan and Phom - the union launched its agitation demanding the four MBBS seats reserved for backward tribe candidates in the NSEE-ll 2016.
The union alleged that the four reserved MBBS seats meant for the candidates of backward tribes were given to other candidates.
"The restriction will continue till 6 pm tomorrow and even after that if the demand is not met the course of agitation might change into locking down of all Government Offices in the four districts of Eastern Nagaland," according to ENCSU chairman Longre chang.
