Employees' Provident Fund Organisation, Dimapur office, organises district outreach programme ‘Nidhi Aapke Nikat’ in Tuensang town.

DIMAPUR — The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Dimapur office, on Wednesday organised a district outreach programme called ‘Nidhi Aapke Nikat’ at DRDA Hall in Tuensang town which was attended by employers, employees and other stakeholders.
An update from EPFO stated that Samuel Das, regional provident fund commissioner, and Kallal Bhattacharjee, enforcement officer, made presentations on the provisions, benefits, rights and privileges of social security available under the Employees’ Provident Funds & Miscellaneous Act, 1952 and other schemes.
It stated that doubts raised by employers, employees and other stakeholders were clarified. The programme included a help desk of EPFO, which resolved various issues raised by members.

It added that Prayas Initiative Pension Payment Orders were also handed over to two pensioners during the programme. EPFO has planned to conduct such awareness programmes in other districts.
Meanwhile, employers and employees are asked to visit EPFO Dimapur office at 1st and 2nd Floor of House No. 218 at United Colony, Half Nagarjan, Dimapur, from Monday to Friday between 9:30 am and 5:30 pm for issues related to EPF matters. The programme was also attended by S Imsong, extra assistant commissioner (EAC) of Tuensang.
