
DIMPAUR: Emotive Strings, a multifaceted audiovisual production, will be performing a unique show called “The Garage”, on March 19, at Spirit of Faith Church, Dimapur from 5 pm onwards.
Addressing a press conference on Thursday at Room 03 café, Dimapur, the producer of Emotive Strings, Mele Pucho stated that they wanted to try something different so they started the production company in November 2022 at Kohima.
He said there are five members in the production team namely, Mele Pucho, Mhalevil Chaya, co-writer and visuals, Nourhe Khate, music, Noune Khamo, writer, and Lelo Mero, Visuals.
He shared that the story, music and the graphics in the show are all original. They plan to do such events once a year with a different story and music each time.
Pucho said the experience will be like watching a movie, and it will be a family show where anyone of any age can come and be a part of it.
Nourhe Khate, who is also the principal artist of the show, expressed that it is more about an experience and not like other concerts. He said it is the first-of-its-kind not only in the state but in the country because the concert will not only incorporate music but include varieties of art form. The show will run for about 75 minutes.
Sharing a gist of the story “The Garage”, he said that it is about a man’s journey to pits of despair, angst, sorrow and loss, and it tells a riveting testament of hope rising from the deepest cracks and coldest crevices against unbearable odds and extreme elements.
It may be mentioned that tickets for the show will be available at INR 500 per person.
