Emotive Strings is all set to present the 3rd series of classical music to be held at Hotel Acacia in Dimapur on Sep. 27. This was informed during a press conference held at RS Academia in Dimapur on Sep. 24.
Emotive Strings, a brainchild of Nourhe Khate which was started in 2017 became a huge success after their first series at Kohima and second series at RCEMPA in Jotsoma.
The event is organised by RS Academia of Music Performance and powered by Music-A events.
Addressing the reporters, the Director of Music-A events Alobo Naga, said that it will be a great opportunity for the public to witness and enjoy the classical music.
"The event is not just for young people but for every person who loves classical music," he mentioned.
Naga also comparatively stressed on the very element that in Naga society, 'we need each other to grow'.
Director of RS Academia, Asin Shurhozelie shared that the purpose of the event is to promote classical music in Nagaland so as to take it to a much higher level.
Artiste Director of RS Academia, Nise Meruno, who is a well known pianist, stated that, "classical music can be fun and can penetrate anyone who loves music."
Principal Violinist of RS Academia, Nourhe Khate disclosed that the event will mark the distinction between the trained and the untrained musicians.
As a young artist himself, Khate revealed that his desire is, "to create awareness and inspire young generations to feel and understand classical music."
The other artists who will be performing at the event are Thunglamo Ngullie, Neilhoukholie Chielie and The Cantamus Choir.
Adding colour to the event, the programme is set to have a dress code of formal attire while the music for the event will be divided into three segments - sacred (gospel) music, classical music and contemporary music .
The entry tickets with a limited seat of 100 are priced at INR 2000 (admit for two) which can be reserved through Music-A events.
