Havells India Limited, a $1.4 billion leading electrical goods company and a major power distribution equipment manufacturer with a strong global footprint has launched an exclusive retail showroom ‘Havells Galaxy’ in Kohima located at High School junction on Tuesday.
Havells Galaxy, an exclusive retail store to meet all lighting and electrical needs of consumers under one roof was inaugurated by member of legislative assembly, Dr Neiphrezo Keditsu, also, chairman of Nagaland State Mineral Development Corporation. He expressed hope Havells would provide quality goods and services to the people of Kohima.
Expressing happiness over the opening of the first ‘Havells Galaxy’ in the state, Sandip Kumar Phukan, General Manager Havells India Ltd said Havells India has been operating and marketing its products in Nagaland for the past many years, however said, this is the first galaxy of Havells in the state. He also said Havells business in Nagaland has shown upward trend in terms of turnover and within a short span of time, the company has entrenched itself to become the most preferred brand in the electrical equipment industry.
He said in Havells the products it offers combine the attributes of elegance, technological advancement and convenience all in one, and that it will serve to provide an array of electrical appliances and consumer products, all created to adhere to the demands of modern living.
‘The concept of Havells Galaxy, a one stop shop is dynamic and differently positioned from the retail format existing in the country and we are glad to serve end users directly through this initiative of ours’ said Sandip Kumar.
Stating that there are more than 325 such display centres spread across the country including all major towns and metros, Sandip informed Havells plans to open many such galaxies by the end of this financial year.
Havells Galaxy, the first in the state is a joint venture of a young 30 year old Khriesanyü Miachieo and Rajiv Verma, will offer the people of Kohima an end to end solution to all electrical needs. It also offers a wide range of stylish and high quality and energy efficient electrical equipment including domestic and industrial switchgears, cables and wires, motors, fans, CFLs, lighting fixtures, electrical water heaters, crabtree switches, domestic appliances etc.
