Eight players selected for induction in SAI Dimapur

Dimapur, Feb. 13 (EMN): The Sports Authority of India (SAI), sports training centre in Dimapur, has issued a notice informing that eight players of boxing and sepaktakraw have been “provisionally selected for medical age verification for new induction” in its facility for the year 2020-21. A press release received here on Thursday informed that the selection was done with the approval of the director SAI, NERC, Imphal.

The players selected for boxing discipline are Jonga Bahadur Sonari, Aditya Ray, Nabin Mote and Lairingsmai Hasam, while those selected for sepaktakraw are Changkam, Akhao, Ruku Pusa and Neikuo Sorhie.

All the selected players have been asked to report to SAI, STC, Dimapur by February 15 for medical age verification and other formalities.
