DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 8: India’s largest education company, and pioneers of Smartclass education in the country, Educomp Solutions Ltd on Thursday held an ‘Education Development School Conclave’ at the conference hall of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Dimapur.
The conference was attended by teachers from leading schools in Dimapur. The Educomp School Conclave is an annual initiative of Educomp to discuss the key challenges faced by today’s education system. It seeks to identify, discuss and solve key issues faced by teachers while imparting high quality education.
The focus of Thursday’s conference was on the subjects of science and mathematics. The interaction between the teachers and the Educomp representatives revolved around some of the critical gaps in education delivery system. The teachers were also exposed to new technology platforms that can be used to deliver, monitor and meet outcome targets in science and mathematics.One such technology was SmartSTEM, Educomp’s latest offering in innovative learning. According to Educomp representatives, SmartSTEM is a learning mechanism that works towards building a sound knowledge base in areas of science and mathematics by integrating them into curriculum through a cohesive learning approach.
SmartSTEM is a new interdisciplinary approach in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. It is a unique blend of technology with traditional methods, in which the teacher led tools enable in-depth learning for students via 3D animations, 3D interactivities and simulations.
