Imphal, June 26 (EMN): Editors Guild Manipur organised one day media sensitisation programme on the state highways in Manipur on Sunday. In his keynote address, Editors’s Guild Manipur secretary general Yumnam Rupachandra said that the sensitisation program will help the media persons understand the workings of the department which will eventually help them when they write a report on the national and state highways of the State.The official of the Public Works Department (PWD), Chief Engineer Ch Tiken highlighted the challenges and problems faced by the PWD during the construction and maintenance of highways in the state.
