ECI conducts training for MCMC team

Dimapur, Feb. 7 (EMN): The Election Commission of India (ECI) conducted a training programme for members of the Media Certification and Monitoring Cell (MCMC) from Nagaland and Tripura through a video-conference on Feb. 7. In Dimapur, the MCMC team participated in the training which was conducted in the NIC’s conference hall in the deputy commissioner’s office. Various topics including certification of advertisements of political nature, duties of the state and district MCMC, and pre-certification etc. were highlighted to the MCMC members. Trainers from Delhi clarified queries raised by Dimapur’s District Electoral Officer Sushil Kumar Patel, who is also the chairman of Dimapur district’s MCMC.
