DIMAPUR — The Ecclesia Theological College and Seminary (ETCS) celebrated its 20th graduation day on May 15 at the Kim Jin Won Chapel in Darogajan, Dimapur.
According to a press release, Rev. Losii Mao, general secretary, Manipur Baptist Convention, addressed the graduates on the occasion, emphasising the importance of applying the knowledge gained during training and reminding them that greater training begins in ministry.
He advised the graduates to actively participate in church ministry, whether in paid or unpaid roles. He encouraged them not to wait for a specific call or appointment but to engage themselves. Furthermore, he underscored that ministry revolves around people and ultimately focuses on making disciples.
Advising the students against wasting time entertaining others or deceiving themselves, he said that theologians should not pursue degrees if they are not committed to making disciples. He stated that being a Bible student is about serving, not acquiring titles.
Rev. Dr. Vikheshe Chishi, founder and principal of ETCS, delivered the welcome address, while Ashikali H Yeptho delivered the valedictory speech.
Altogether, 28 students were conferred degrees and certificates in different courses.
