ECC organises awareness programme on women’s health and hygiene

Dimapur, May 7 (EMN): Women’s Grievances Redressal of Eastern Christian College (ECC), Dimapur conducted an awareness programme on “Women’s Health and Hygiene” with Dr. Mhasisenuo T Belho, Gynaecologist (Dr. Belho's Clinic), Walford Colony, Dimapur as the resource person on Saturday.

Speaking at the programme, Dr. Belho pointed out the importance of staying healthy and the need to go for routine check-up. She encouraged women that it is their right to be healthy, an update from the institution informed.

She sensitised the gathering on problems faced by women regarding menstruation, fertility, PCOS such as obesity, hormonal changes, acne, hair thinning and menopause. The speaker also stressed on the importance of hygiene, adding that it reduces risk of germs and microbes that carry diseases.
