Dimapur, Aug. 6 (EMN): Eastern Christian College (ECC), Padumpukhuri, Dimapur, strongly condemned the barbaric and grievous crime committed upon Mikato Yeptho, a student of BA 5th semester and also representative to ANCSU from the college, on the fateful night of August 4 at Purana Bazaar High School area.
While stating that such heinous act has no place in a civilised society, the college urged upon all the right thinking citizens to condemn the same. It also urged upon the law enforcing agency to seriously dealt with the incident so that no such kind of incident happen again.
Meanwhile, the college has acknowledged Dimapur police for it fast and swift action in arresting the culprit within 24 hours. The college further wished a speedy recovered to the victim.
