EBRC Kohima L Khel distributes uniforms to 38 schools

Kohima, July 26 (EMN): The Educational Block Resource Centre (EBRC) L Khel Kohima under sub-divisional committee distributed free uniforms to 38 schools under its block on Tuesday.

Vizoneilie Pienyü, coordinator in-charge of EBRC L Khel, informed that a total of 1910 stitched trousers and shirts for boys as well as 2711 stitched skirts and shirts for girls were distributed for government elementary school children from classes I-VIII. He apprised that free school uniforms were distributed as per UDISE 2020-21 to 38 schools.

Speaking during a brief free school uniform distribution ceremony held at EBRC L Khel office in Kruoliezou, Neisiesa Chüsi, AEO, SDEO Kohima, apprised on how free uniforms and free textbooks are being issued under Samagra Shiksha scheme. He advised the students to maintain cleanliness.

There are five educational block resource centres under Kohima district namely EBRC L Khel, EBRC Chiphobouzou, EBRC Viswema, EBRC Sechü-Zubza and EBRC Tseminyu.
