DIMAPUR — The Eastern Naga Students' Federation (ENSF) has noted with serious concern reports from public sources indicating that certain officials posted in the eastern region are failing to discharge their duties diligently and are frequently absent from their stations.
In a press release, the ENSF termed such negligence a direct hindrance to the welfare of the people and issued a strict directive to all its federating units to initiate immediate and rigorous vigilance within their respective jurisdictions.

All federating units have been directed to track the attendance and performance of all officers to ensure they are physically present at their designated stations and fulfilling their assigned responsibilities.
They have also been asked to undertake regular on-site inspections of government offices and departments, and document and report any instances of habitual absence, professional negligence, or dereliction of duty to the Federation for immediate and appropriate action.
“The ENSF will not tolerate any compromise on public service delivery. We expect full cooperation and transparency from all officials serving in the eastern region,” it stated.
