ENNWA in an emergency meeting on April 21 held at Khehoi Designated Camp, resolved to appoint new office bearers.
DIMAPUR — The Eastern Naga National Workers Association (ENNWA), in an emergency meeting on April 21 held at Khehoi Designated Camp, resolved to appoint new office bearers and unanimously elected kilonser NT Yamthong as chairman and F Pongba Konyak as secretary for the tenure 2025-2028.
The house also reaffirmed its commitment to support and work collaboratively under the leadership of its president, Maj. (retired) RM Lotha, and the Ato kilonser, N Kitovi, an update from GPRN/NSCN stated through its MIP.

Reacting to the purported statement issued to the media in the name ENNWA on April 18 stating that the recent ‘Ceasefire Agreement between the Government of India and GPRN/NSCN (N Kitovi) was invalid and inapplicable within the eastern Naga territories,’ the house has strongly rejected the statement. It stated that the nomenclature ENNWA applies to all the national workers serving under different groups and one particular group cannot claim the nomenclature as it might hurt the sentiments of the ENPO people. It added that the statement showed lack of political reasoning.
Stating that the Government of India had invited N Kitovi group to sign the Cease Fire Agreement, it stated that his party should work according to the ceasefire ground rules within the entire Nagaland.
The house further encouraged all peace-loving citizens, particularly those in the ENPO regions, to remain vigilant regarding potentially misleading statements as their slogan is ‘Unity first and solution second.’
