degrees whose names correspond to the trade license would be allowed to open
and operate pharmacies.
- “This regulation aims to strengthen patient safety, improve
the quality of medication dispensation, and promote ethical pharmacy practices.
This will ensure qualified professionals manage pharmacies; this initiative
seeks to reduce risks related to improper medication handling, counterfeit
drugs, and unregulated pharmaceutical sales,” it stated in a notice issued on
Friday.
