DIMAPUR — Chairman of Investment and Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN), Abu Metha, on Friday inaugurated the extended campus of Eagle Crest Institute-East Campus, located at Middle colony, Purana Bazar, Dimapur.

Speaking at the event as chief guest, chairman of IDAN, Abu Metha, congratulated the Eagle Crest leadership for creating opportunities, jobs and motivation to Naga youth from all over Nagaland.
He stated that the Nagaland Skill and Entrepreneurship Development Mission, launched by Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, aims to empower Naga youth with skills and employment opportunities to achieve success.
Metha emphasised that success requires hard work and dedication, with no room for luck or shortcuts.
He added that the government, led by the chief minister, believes in meritocracy, emphasising that in today's era, everything is transparent and based on merit, with no room for behind-the-scenes arrangements or under-the-table agreements.
Metha said that hard work is the only path to success and excellence, and it's inspiring to see Nagaland's youth willing to put in the effort. He noted that, unlike in the past when they faced challenges like limited infrastructure and lack of access to knowledge, today's youth live in the information age with the world at their fingertips, making “I didn't know” no longer a valid excuse.
“Knowledge is power. Empower yourself with knowledge, and you'll be able to take on the world,” he said.
