Dimapur, Aug. 18 (EMN): The Entrepreneurs Associates (EA) in collaboration with Chandmari Higher Secondary School, Kohima, is conducting a skill programme called “School of Life Values and Entrepreneurship,” (Solve) with an aim to equip and empower the students with skills that will enable them to adapt to changes.
The organisation initiated Solve programme to reach out to students and potential entrepreneurs.
The EA said in a statement that it would interact with the students
during the programme and make them engaged in various initiatives that will help them take on responsibility and hone their communication skills. It also wants to bring about awareness on financial matters and entrepreneurship opportunities.
EA informed that it has been actively engaged in training, mentoring and financing young people to take up entrepreneurship in Nagaland and Manipur for the past two decades.
EA believed that the best way to groom students for their life is by helping them experience a dose of reality.
Believing in the power of preparedness and readiness, EA hoped that students who enrol in the programme will be able to identify more career choices available to them when they pass out from school.
The training is expected to be a ‘life saver’ for students who can’t pursue further studies owing to financial constraints or other reasons.
The skill programme, which is being carried out at Chandmari Higher Secondary School, is expected to be conducted in more schools and colleges across the state.
