
KOHIMA — Nagaland Deputy Chief Minister and minister in-charge of Planning and Transformation and National Highways, TR Zeliang, on Sunday inaugurated the 10-day multimedia exhibition organised by the Central Bureau of Communication (CBC) under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting at World War II Museum campus at Kisama.
A PIB report stated that Kripa Shankar Yadav, ADG of Central Bureau of Communication (CBC) Guwahati, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, attended the inaugural programme as the guest of honour.
After the inauguration, Zeliang visited the exhibition which showcased antique and modern equipments of Akashvani Kohima.
In a short speech, Kripa Shankar Yadav informed that the main purpose of organising the exhibition was to showcase the various flagship schemes and policies of the central government and Modi 3.0 and India's march towards Viksit Bharat by the year 2047.
He informed that information on the benefits of those schemes and policies are being disseminated to the public through multimedia and digital exhibitions.
It stated that visitors could access better knowledge about those schemes and policies of the central government through advanced technologies in the form of augmented reality, virtual reality, sound shower and digital puzzles which are being put up in the exhibition.
The 10-day exhibition would also feature events such as folk dance competition, cultural performances, story-telling and quiz competition based on the flagship programmes of the central government.
Prizes would be presented to the winners of various competitions.
