Durbar for grade-iv held

DIPR Kohima, August 14 Durbar for all the Office Peon, Jamadar and Duftry was held today at Secretariat complex with Nagaland Chief Secretary Banuo Z. Jamir and Principal Secretary & Home Commissioner Temjen Toy. The Chief Secretary urged the Gr-IV employees to carry their responsibilities with sincerity and dedication and to maintain good and healthy relationships with their respective officers. She stated that quality of work depends on the individuals, where all individual should treat their works in the Governments in the same way they treat their personal works. She asserted that the whole system collapses if one part fails since everyone has a role to play in the structure of the government. Temjen Toy also exhorted the meeting where he said, “As a government servant everyone should know their responsibilities while performing their duties”. He opined that proxy practices in the offices should be stopped and appealed to the employees to start working with habits of sincerity, humility and honesty. He also appreciated the Gr-IV employees for attending the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Secretary Home, Lithrongla G. Chishi who also gave an opening remark. Speech on behalf of Gr-IV Association was given by General Secretary, NCSGEA, Y. Shahkam Jemphang Phom where he shared various grievances faced by the Gr-IV staffs. Er gave highlights of Personal Information System (PIS). Viserielie pronounced Medoseho Sothu, invocation prayer. After the formal programme, an interaction was also held followed by attendance and checking of bio-data.
