Dimapur, July 27 (EMN): The Advisor of DUDA and NEPED, S. Pangnyu Phom, held a meeting with the secretary and officers of DUDA at the office chamber of Director, DUDA on Thursday.
During the meeting, the advisor expressed his visions and plan of action for the development of the international border and under developed areas of the State.
He urged the officers and staff of the department to extend their co-operation and to work sincerely in order to bring about all round development of the areas. Although DUDA being a new department, he felt that it is an important department for the people of the underdeveloped areas. He encouraged the officers and staff to fulfil the aspiration of the people.
Joint director, Dr. Anungla Imdong Phom, gave an overview of the activities of the department.
Director of DUDA, K.S. Anden Konyak, NCS, chaired the meeting while Secretary of DUDA, Senti Ao, IAS delivered welcome address and project officer (BADP), Thepfuzakie Angami, proposed vote of thanks.
