
Dimapur, Aug. 31 (EMN): Dimasa Students’ Union Nagaland (DSUN), in collaboration with Dimasa Youth Oraganisation Nagaland (DYON), organised a felicitation programme to honour the meritorious students on August 29 at Shalom Mission School hall in Doyapur village on the theme “Education and society.”
The programme was oraganised to felicitate successful candidates of HSLC, HSSLC graduates, post graduates and other professional courses, informed an update from the union. It added that assistant professor of Phek Government College, Ronald Difoesa Dimasa, and the assistant employment officer from Diphu, Julie Hagjer, were the resource persons.
Speaking at the programme, Ronald exhorted the students to have a clear vision in their pursuit towards achieving success in life. While advising to always put God first in life, he also urged the students not to fear failure but rather transformed as a tool towards achieving success.
Julie Hagjer, while speaking on the significance of choosing educational courses, encouraged the students to know and understand the scope of educational course and focus on one goal.
Many leaders and elders have congratulated and motivated the students to work hard, set goal in their mind and belief in themselves. The programme concluded with a word of gratitude delivered by Lairingdau Jigdung, DSUN treasurer.
