Drowned students laid to rest at Khonoma

Principal Correspondent Kohima, December 30 The three students drowned in Sanctuary Fall in Dzükou of Khonoma village, Kohima district were laid to rest on Tuesday. The mass funeral of the three deceased - Rokosietso Mor (19), his younger sister Ketourovino Mor (14) and Mhiesikhono Viyie (14) – was held at Semoma Khel (Dopulie Kitie) in Khonoma village. Priest of Khonoma Parish Rev. Fr. Dr. Jacob Charallel conducted the funeral rites while family members and relatives of both the families along with near and dear ones offered prayers for the departed souls to rest in peace. After the mass funeral services, the victims were laid to rest separately by the families.
