Dimapur, March 8 (EMN): DRDA Zunheboto bade farewell to its outgoing project director cum DPC, K Inavi Chishi, during a programme held on March 7 at DRDA rest house in Zunheboto town.
Speaking at the programme, the deputy commissioner of Zunheboto, Peter Lichamo, stated that it is always a pleasure to serve in any government department and added that serving and retiring with good health is the most valuable gift one could get for working with dedication. He thanked and appreciated the family of retiring officer for allowing him to serve the people with sincerity, a DIPR report stated.
APC MGNREGA, Yapang Jamir stated that a career of true dedication and sincerity was shown by the outgoing officer.
Short speeches on behalf of the engineering wing, NRLM, VDB association and DRDA were delivered by Ghonito Sema, ADPM Vika Yeptho, Mughaho Zhimo and David Achumi respectively.
In his farewell speech, the retiring officer stated that DRDA is one of the most sincere and dedicated departments serving the state. He exhorted the department officials to always be dedicated in their work.
