Dimapur, March 29 (EMN): Nagaland Badminton Association (NBA) has congratulated Dr. Watizulu Süzümeren Jamir, Sr. Vice President, NBA on being elevated to the post of vice president, Badminton Association of India (BAI) for the tenure 2022-26.

NBA informed that Jamir was holding the post of joint secretary, BAI during the last tenure.

The association will be led by Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma as president.

“NBA is grateful to the BAI family for reposing its confidence on Dr. Watizulu to hold this prestigious responsibility. His inclusion in the new team will hopefully inspire greater motivation for the players and lovers of the game in the state.

We hope to see bold initiatives from him for Badminton in Nagaland and wish him all success in his endeavours,” it read.
