Dimapur, Sep. 20(EMN): Dr. Shurhozelie Liezietsu led NPF DAN chairman, Kuzholuzo Nienu, today reaffirmed that Dr. Shurhozelie Liezietsu is the legitimate president of the NPF party, adding the 33 MLAs who were expelled and suspended from the party have no rights to use the party name.
Speaking at the NPF Dimapur division consultative meeting on September 20 at Landmark Colony PWD, Nienu has termed the present political development as a blessing in disguise as he believed that God will favour NPF and let the crisis resolved before the 2018 general election.
On the expelled and suspended members, he alleged that their only aim was to pocket government funds. In order to avail basic needs from the government like health care, water supple and electricity, he asked the party workers to vote for the right candidate and right party and that is NPF.
Also speaking on the occasion, MLA R Tohanba has termed the present crisis as a turning point for the NPF in the State. He has appreciated the NPF functionaries and the party workers for their tremendous efforts and sacrifices to attend the meeting.
