Dr Jyoti Sharma from Dimapur has made the state proud by winning the title of Dellywood Miss India Nagaland 2018 during the “Dellywood Mr & Miss India 2018” competition held from July 15 to the 19th at Crowne Plaza, Rohini in New Delhi.
An update issued on July 26 mentioned that Dr Jyoti daughter of Krishna Sharma is said to have participated during the Miss India’s audition in Delhi during the month of May this year and was selected for the competition and went on to win the coveted title of “Miss India Nagaland 2018” at the finals.
Dr Jyoti Sharma is said to have completed her HSLC from Holy Cross Higher Secondary School and HSSLC from Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School in Dimapur. After which she completed her MBBS from Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh last year, the release added.
She is said to have been interested in modelling from her childhood days and her passion for led her to participate in various beauty contests, including Miss UP Beauty Pageant 2017, where she was one of the top finalists.
Currently, she is said to be a practicing doctor at Baba Sahab Ambedkar Hospital in New Delhi.
Ritu Santuka from Bhubaneswar was declared Dellywood Miss India 2018.
