Principal Correspondent KOHIMA, DECEMBER 6 NAGALAND Minister for Agriculture, Dr. N. Benjongliba today asserted to extend all possible help to the investigating agency. Talking to Eastern Mirror over phone this evening, a day after the sleuths of State’s Vigilance & Anti-Corruption Cell raided his residences based on the media reports for his alleged involvement in the misappropriation and misutilization of funds under the Horticulture Technology Mission pertaining to the period 2008-2009 to 2012-13, he said, “I will extend full cooperation and whatever they (Vigilance) ask me I will reply”. Lamenting that the allegations were based on political line to malign his career, the minister said he would be giving a befitting reply. On the issue of the state government not being taken into confidence, Dr. Benjongliba said, “The investigating officers had the search warrant with them and therefore I willingly allowed them to continue with the search operation in my house without any objection.”
