Dimapur, Oct. 16 (EMN): The DPS Dimapur girls won the U-17 girls volleyball champions trophy in the zonal level CBSE cluster-I tournament held at Kaziranga English Academy in Guwahati.
In an update received here on Tuesday, the school team under the guidance of P.E Teacher Asha Gupta Neog, participated in the CBSE inter-school sports and games competition 2018-19 (NE - Cluster) from 9 Oct. 9-11.
The team won the trophy after defeating teams from 54 schools and with it the team qualified for the CBSE National Championship. Adding another feather to the cap, the best player of the tournament was bagged by Pompi Borah, a class XI student of DPS Dimapur.
