Delhi Public School Dimapur organises sports meet

Dimapur, Feb. 13 (EMN): Delhi Public School Dimapur organised its annual sports day on February 13, at the school premises with the chairman of Dimapur Public School Society SI Jamir as chief guest.

An update from Delhi Public School Dimapur informed that its principal BK Nanda delivered a welcome address before the four “houses” presented march past to the spectators. It added that parents and teachers took part in the sporting event besides students.

Dikhu House emerged as over-all champion after a stiff competition from other three teams, informed the press release. Zungki House won the trophy for the best march past, while S Thungte Atsang of class 11 and Niotoli K Kinimi of class 5 were adjudged best boy and girl athletes respectively.

The principal of the school declared the annual sports meet closed. Then sports teachers lowered the school flag to mark the end of the sporting event before Dimapur Public School Society treasurer Maronen Jamir handed over the flag to the principal, informed the press release.
