District planning and coordination meetings held in Shamator, Meluri, Pungro, and Tuli to review ongoing development projects and regional challenges.

DIMAPUR — The District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meetings of Shamator and Meluri were held in the respective districts, with discussions on developmental activities, departmental coordination, and public service delivery.
Shamator: According to a DIPR report, the DPDB meeting was held at Shamator under the chairmanship of S Keoshu Yimkhiung, Advisor for Youth Resources and Sports and Chairman of DPDB Shamator.
During the meeting, various issues and challenges faced by the district were deliberated upon in detail. The chairman urged all departments to highlight the concerns and difficulties being faced in their respective sectors so that necessary attention and coordination could be ensured for effective governance and development.
The meeting also served as a platform for departments to present updates on ongoing activities, developmental works, and the implementation status of various schemes and programmes under their respective departments.
The house discussed matters relating to infrastructure, public service delivery, connectivity, healthcare, education, and other developmental priorities concerning the district. Stress was laid on inter-departmental coordination and timely execution of government initiatives for the welfare of the public.
Officers from various departments attended the meeting and shared departmental achievements, requirements, and challenges requiring intervention and support.
Meluri: The DPDB meeting of Meluri was held at DB's Court, DC’s office, Meluri, on Tuesday.
Z Nyusietho Nyuthe, Advisor for New and Renewable Energy and Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority, welcomed all the members present in the meeting and introduced the new DC and ADC, Meluri, Phuleshe K Yepthomi and Shelly Katiry, respectively.
During the meeting, Phuleshe K Yepthomi, DC Meluri, urged all heads of departments to remain sincere, dedicated, and responsible in discharging their duties.
He stated that collective efforts, commitment, and proper coordination among departments are essential for the overall growth and development of the district. The deputy commissioner further encouraged all officers to work with honesty and dedication in order to uplift the district and ensure better service to the people.
Shelly Katiry, ADC Meluri, stressed the importance of the Vibrant Village Programme in the Meluri district. He appealed to all the line departments to extend full cooperation and contribute innovative ideas for the welfare of the district.
He further urged the officers to work together sincerely to ensure successful implementation of developmental activities for the benefit of the people.
Nguvitho Katiry, Junior Engineer (Power) Meluri, delivered a PowerPoint presentation on the developmental activities of the department in the district.
