Dimapur, June 16 (EMN): Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, Rajesh Soundararajan, has urged the officers to report to the authority in case of any land encroachment in government’s land in order to avoid trouble in future and also directed to do survey work and avail the land patta from the authority.
The Deputy Commissioner said this at the monthly meeting of the Kohima District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) on June 15 under the chairmanship of ADC Kohima, TL Kiusumong Tikhir at the DPDB conference hall, Kohima.Deputy Commissioner cautioned that concerned HOD would be responsible in the event of condemnation cases relating to land issue without the approval of the authority. He, therefore, urged the HOD to keep vigil on such things. He also reminded the members and committees to complete their entrusted work as soon as possible within the stipulated period.
Meanwhile, he expressed gratitude to all the present and outgoing officers for their cooperation and asked the PHED to present their departmental activities in the next DPDB meeting.
NIC Kohima District Centre, in its departmental presentation, stated that people can go cashless through Bank Card, USSD, AADHAR Enabled Payments, E-Wallets and Unified Payment interface (UPI). The Centre official said that these kinds of technology will help the people to go cashless.
DPDB Screening Committee submitted a report on upgradation of GMS to High School/Higher Secondary at Chedema. Other agenda taken up doe discussion included application for registration under NBSE for Tabitha Enabling Academy; renewal of registration of St. Joseph School, Mezoma village, Little Angel Pre School, Ziekezou Kohima; Upgradation of Radiant School, Phezoucha, Kohima, Jo-foundation, Agri Colony, Kohima, and Opening of Army Pre- primary School, Jakhama, and St. Luke School, Phezoucha Yasogei, Kohima.
