Doyang Hornbill Extension ends with marathon, cycling

WOKHA — The two-day third edition of the Doyang Hornbill Extension held at the Doyang Tourist Resort, culminated on Saturday with a marathon race and an off-road cycling competition.

Seven cyclists from Wokha, Dimapur and Kohima took part in the cycling event, while twenty individuals representing Wokha, Mokokchung, Chümoukedima, Dimapur, Kohima districts and Doyang competed in the marathon race. 

Results

Marathon race (8 km):  First - Tali Yanger Ozukhum (Dimapur ); second - Temjensan Pongen (Mokokchung); third - John Minj (Chümoukedima) 

Off-road bicycle race (8 km):  First - Kutolo Sou (Gear Thrills Cycling Club Kohima); second - Pekindibo Nring (Gear Thrills Cycling Club), third - Kevingurie Meyesa (Gear Thrills Cycling Club)
