
Thavaseelan K, Dr. Kekhrielhoulie Yhome, and others during

- DIMAPUR — A farewell programme in honour of
Thavaseelan K, outgoing Principal Director of School Education, was held on
Monday at Morung Hall, Directorate of School Education (DoSE), in Kohima.
- According to an update, in his farewell speech, Thavaseelan
expressed his gratitude to the large, family-like environment at DoSE, where he
had worked for three years.
- He shared that the most profound realisation in his life is
to simply let go of oneself and surrender to God, as He knows what is best for
one.
- Sharing his experience, he said that everybody is very
committed and wants to make a difference; they only need one gentle push at any
level and will exceed expectations. He expressed his gratitude to the former
Advisor of DoSE and all ranks and files of DoSE who have retired.
- He maintained that the staff are a creative team who are
committed, sincere, and get things done very quickly, and he requested them to
continue their cooperation with the incoming principal director as well.
- Earlier, MLA and Advisor, School Education and State Council
of Educational Research and Training, Dr. Kekhrielhoulie Yhome shared that
Thavaseelan was the topper in his batch of IAS officers, studied at a top-notch
institute, and was one of the finest officers as principal director.
