A team of officials from the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region, DoNER, Director NEC Shillong K. Gurite and Assistant Planning Officer, Imlikokba Longkumer visited Changtongya town on April 15 for spot verification and inspected the ongoing construction work of the guest house building. They also met SDO (C) M.S. Thangpong and the contractor, Talitemjen Longkumer. The contractor shared grievances and the problem faced for the non-release of fund on time. SDO (C) also requested the Director to release the fund at the earliest so that the construction work of the guest house building will be able to complete without any delay. The Director assured that the grievances faced by the contractor will be looked at the earliest.
