Dimapur, April 16 (EMN): Youth Pasch, a four day program on Holy week for the youth, under the theme “He is risen,” was conducted at DBIDL, Don Bosco School campus, Dimapur from April 13- 16.
The program started on Holy Thursday and ended on Easter Sunday. Around 230 youngsters from Assam, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland attended the Youth Pasch. Youth Pasch aimed at giving a platform for the youngsters to have a meaningful celebration and experience of the Holy week.
On Holy Thursday, while commemorating the Lord’s Supper, during the Holy Eucharist, Fr. C. M Joseph, pointed out that Jesus’ service is one which is inspired and propelled by love.

Good Friday was observed with much devotion. The traditional practice of the Way of the Cross was acted to relive Jesus’ suffering and crucifixion. The solemn passion reading and veneration of the Cross were also observed.

as solemnly celebrated, with Fr. Bosco Sdb, Vice Provincial of Salesian Province of Dimapur, as the main celebrant.
In his speech, Fr. Bosco said Jesus rising from death is the greatest miracle and life is worth living because Jesus lives. He also emphasized that the resurrection of Jesus is one that gives new hope.
Speaking at the Easter Sunday service, Fr. K. C Vincent Sdb said Easter is the feast of love.
The day was also graced by Most Rev. Dr. James Thoppil, Bishop of Kohima Diocese. He exhorted that celebrating Easter should help one relive the unique experience of being touched by Risen Christ. He also said that one can have fullness of life in the risen Christ.
The program was marked by fun-filled activities, competitions and cultural night.
