Dimapur, Dec 18: A total 71 graduates from 15 tribes of Northeast, who underwent skill training on food and beverage service, beauty and wellness, and beauty and hair dresser conducted by Don Bosco Tech, AIDA Skill Training Institute, have found job placement.
This was disclosed at the graduation day of 19th batch skill trainees on December 15 in the presence of delighted parents and training faculty.
Batch 19 of skill training for unemployed youth of Nagaland began on October 3.
Fr. Nebu Matthew, provincial administrator of the Salesian Province of Dimapur and chief guest of the programme, spoke on values and qualities of life.
“Every experience adds value to your life. Try to grow higher in life,” he exhorted the trainees.
He also encouraged the trainees to “be strong and gain more experience by exploring the working world outside and contribute quality work to the society.
“Every opportunity that you get adds values to your life and every learning helps you to grow personally. Learn to accept new cultures and adapt new life style in new environment,” he advised.
Amos Ekka, coordinator (operations) of Don Bosco Tech, Dimapur, congratulated the graduates for their perseverance to complete the training successfully. He advised the trainees to “build positive attitude” and encouraged them to “grow professionally in your future career.”
Trainees welcomed the gathering through a song, while Serichem Sangtam shared his life testimony on behalf of trainees.
The program concluded with vote of thanks.
