Dimapur, April 7 (EMN): The Don Bosco Tech Aida Centre at Dimapur organised a graduation ceremony for newly trained unemployed youths, batch 24, on April 6.
Rev. Fr. CT Varghese, rector of Don Bosco School campus attended the peogramme as the chief guest. Updates from the centre on Saturday informed.
Addressing the gathering, Fr. Varghese congratulated the trainees for completing the training successfully and encouraged them to work hard in their work place.
“You need to have PHD in life – Passion, Hunger and Discipline: Passion for your work, Hunger to help others and Discipline yourself and you will be happy and successful in life” he encouraged the graduating candidates.
Sharing his life testimony, Leknath Adhikari called on his colleagues to be honest and hardworking. He urged the trainees to carry along the values they have learned at the institute.
The outgoing trainees welcomed their parents and guests with a song and presented a thanksgiving song. Earlier in the day parents’ meeting was held during which placement related information was shared with the parents.
24th batch of skill training programme for unemployed youth began on 22 January 2018 with 64 trainees from 18 different tribes and communities from Assam, Nagaland, Manipur and Arunachal Pradesh. 60 trainees successfully completed the training in Assistant beauty therapist and Food and Beverages Service steward domains. All the 60 trainees have received offer letters from the companies, the press release informed.
Batch 25 of skill training programme for unemployed youth will begin on April 19. The centre plans to train 100 youth in this silver batch.
