Don Bosco College observes cultural festival

Dimapur, November 25: Don Bosco College (DBC), Kohima, organised a cultural cum sports festival titled “Euphoria 2016” which was inaugurated by KD Vizo, Commissioner & Secretary of IT, on November 21. The closing ceremony was graced by Rukuo Paul, president of Catholic Union Christ King Church, Kohima. Students took part in indoor and outdoor sports events like tug-of-war, badminton, basketball, football, Naga wrestling, pillow fight, arm wrestling, athletic events, sack race, table tennis, carom, and chess. Naga cultural day consisted of competitions such as traditional song, traditional dance, traditional instrumental pieces and Naga folk tales. Likewise, western day consisted of western songs, dances, instrumental pieces, advertisements, mimicry and skit. The students in four groups namely Persians, Romans, Titans and Trojans competed in the competitions. Titans emerged as the champion of Euphoria 2016. Mrs. Tsutshowe-U Sekhamo, coordinator of EUPHORIA 2016, thanked the staff and students for their support and cooperation.
