Dimapur, Nov. 29 (EMN): In a run-up to the Hornbill Festival 2019, Diphupar Naga Youth Organisation (DNYO) conducted a cleanliness drive from 4th Mile junction to Agri Expo site, the venue of Hornbill Music Festival on November 29.
After the cleanliness drive, DNYO president Kikheto Sumi made an appeal to all residents of Diphupar to help visitors and tourists in the event of any assistance during the festival. He also suggested that the construction of road construction from Purana Bazaar to Chümoukedima should be given utmost priority and complete at the earliest.
Team members from LiveNow also shared concerned to address the issue of environment through music during the festival.
“In the midst of scheduling bands and setting up the main stage, we are also trying to practice environmental sustainability - reducing waste and environmental impact,” LiveNow team asserted. This was stated in a press release issued by DNYO on Friday.
