In pursuance to the directives of the Naga Students’ Federation (NSF), Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU) has issued code of directives to all government school within its jurisdiction for strict adherence.
DNSU education secretary, Daniel Semp, and the debate and symposium secretary, Akuto Yepthomi, directed all teachers to be regular in duties and asked all schools to maintain attendance register along with photo of teachers. Informing that Union would conduct surprise checking, it cautioned that strict action would be taken against practice of bogus and proxy teachers.
The Union also warned of strict action against student loitering in town with school uniforms and indulging in intoxication and immoral activities. It also asked all educational institutions to disallow sell of tobacco products within 100 parameters of the school premises.
